The birth of Renegade; initially Renegade FM was the biggest pirate radio station in Coventry with a huge following and became a cult leader playing a mixture of Old Skool, DnB and house music. .
From this came the resurrection of a new Legal Renegade and Renegade Records UK vinyl store was born. Passionate about keeping Vinyl alive (as rumour is, it’s dying out)…yet this remains to be seen as sales have increased in recent months proving that music lovers out there feel and hear and understand the difference of the unique sounds of vinyl. Also the actual touch of mixing vinyl and the crispness off the sounds keeps many a DJ coming back.
Ever evolving and looking at new ways to get music out to you Renegade are working on their MP3 site letting you download direct to your music file…no messin’!! The website’s fully interactive shop offers you music both vinyl and mp3, merchandise, event information, news blogs and if that’s not enough our new retail store in Coventry will open very soon, so you can come in, listen and pick your tunes yourself.
With an underground vibe, our staff are on hand and have the knowledge within the industry to answer any questions and offer advice.
